    For this week's lesson, I learnt about composition. "Composition as the strongest way of seeing" Edward Weston. The elements of a good composition consists of subject & background, simplicity, balance and point of view. Dr. Shukri also introduced us to a YouTube video entitled 9 photo composition tips. In the video, Steve McCurry gave 9 tips of good photo composition. Before I watched the video, I only know few compositions like rules of third, symmetry and leading line. Also, I'm not really sure of the name of these compositions. I only knew how to take picture without knowing its composition. Therefore, the video is really great for newbie like me to know these beautiful compositions.

    For the weekly challenges, Dr. Shukri gave us task to choose 5 out of 9 composition tips and take a picture of each composition. To be honest, it's not an easy challenge as it require higher skills to take the photo. I'm also quite confuse between the tips like leading line, diagonal and symmetry. I'm unsure whether I take the correct photo or not for the composition that I choose. Nevertheless, I get to enjoy taking these photos. I had a ride at surrounding area to choose the beautiful spot to take the picture. I also have a friend of mine to be the model for the photo as well. So, check out these photo that I took :)
