Third Week of Semester 1 Session 2021/2022

                As for this week’s lesson, we learnt about the topic Developing Multimedia Project for Instructions. Sir Imran introduced us to the term Instructional Design. To be honest, it was my first time hearing the term. Then, there was also term instructional designers. I thought it was just another different name of teacher. However, it is not as similar as a teacher. Instructional designers have more specific job in creating an instructional material. It is an interesting job, but I would probably stick with teaching for my future career path.

                The Milanote activity was good like last week. I learnt the value of teamwork and it was a great experience collaborating with my other classmate. Then, Sir Imran introduced to the ASSURE; an instructional system. From what I learnt, it was quite similar to the ADDIE system. However, ASSURE is more specific system. Overall, it was a new knowledge for me. So, I’m still unsure about how effective does ASSURE system. Also, I still can’t distinguish clearly between ASSURE and ADDIE. So, it is a reminder for me to make revision on this topic so that I can distinguish clearly between those two systems.

                To sum it up, it was a great lesson and I gained many valuable input from this week’s lesson.
